HOW TO REGISTER AND ENTER YOUR CHOSEN CATEGORIES
Entry is entirely online, starting on this page.
You can enter up to four categories.
Entry is free in all categories, except Suppliers*.
Choose your category below. Then go to the ‘ ENTER NOW ’ button below and follow the steps. You have to register online as the first step. You'll then receive an account confirmation email to validate your account. Once your account is set up, you can start your entry for each category you have chosen. Save it as you go and return at any time until entry closes, to continue and complete your entry or entries.
Entry closes on the 8th September 2023, this is the final deadline and no further extensions will be offered.

Rising Star of the Year
For individuals in agencies, management companies and auction services. The Award identifies a special individual – a potential industry leader; who demonstrates enthusiasm, innovation, implementation and leadership qualities.
Open only to individuals born since 1st January 1993. The judges look for someone who, for their age, has been exceptionally successful or made a significant impact in the business. Nominees may not nominate themselves and must be nominated by an employer or colleague.
Community Champion of the Year
Open to all agencies, auction houses and property management companies. This award celebrates corporate and social responsibility and contribution to the community. For example, smaller agencies may be supporting schools, clubs, charities etc. and larger agencies may be engaged in major programmes of community support. The judges look for a lasting commitment, team involvement and action.
Marketing Campaign of the Year
Open to agencies, management companies and auction houses. This award recognises a successful marketing campaign in the past year (Since June 2022). The judges look for details of your campaign(s), objectives, creation and implementation and how you measured success. Include facts and figures and illustrations where appropriate.
Website of the Year
Open to agencies, management companies and auction houses. The judges look for excellence and innovation in your website’s appearance, functionality, efficiency, mobility and ease of use. Your website builder should contribute to your entry, explaining technical aspects such as SEO, speed, flexibility.
Employer of the Year
Entries may be made by directors or owners who believe that their organisation offers real career opportunities, training, support and recognition. Comment on remuneration, bonuses and benefits. Why is it a great place to work? Provide details such as: staff long service, working flexibility, recruitment strategy, apprentice programmes, professional development, mentoring, culture, social calendar, incentives and rewards. Nominations should be supported by three staff testimonials.
Residential Auction Service of the Year
Open to auction houses, independent or franchise/network operating regular auctions for residential property, at a venue and/or online. Demonstrate growth, innovation and service and include five testimonials from agent clients to support the entry.
Property Management Department of the Year
Open to any residential property management department within an agency. The category covers lettings management departments and groups’ management divisions within a lettings agency business.
Property Management Company of the Year
Open to any standalone residential property management company. The category covers property and landlord portfolio management (as distinct from block management).
Block Management Company of the Year
Open to any standalone block management company. The category covers property management and block management operations that are not directly connected to an estate or letting agency business.
Land & New Homes Specialist of the Year
If you have a Land & New Homes section (single person or a whole department) you can enter this category. As more agents recognise the opportunities offered in this sector, we’re looking for a team or an individual that is successfully sourcing land, planning development and selling the final product – the homes.
SUPPLIER AWARDS
Do you deliver more than you promise? Do your products and services make agents’ businesses fly? Is your technology way ahead of the crowd? Can you demonstrate innovation, quality, service and customer satisfaction?
Entries must be supported by five client testimonials.
There is a £250+VAT entry fee for each category entered (this applies to Supplier categories only).

Suppliers may enter up to four categories providing the product or service for each entry is different, eg a company may build apps and supply a general CRM software platform, therefore could enter two categories: Technology – Apps and Technology – Agency Software.
Supplier of the Year – Professional Support
Open to companies providing, for example: legal services, financial, management consulting, mortgages, conveyancing, insurance, deposit protection, ombudsman services, dispute resolution etc.
Supplier of the Year (Technology) – Agency software
Open to companies providing full agency management CRM software platforms (SaaS) – lettings, sales or both). As distinct as distinct from apps and plugins.
Entrants should demonstrate user-friendliness, scalability, flexibility, cost-effectiveness and quality of support. The entry should be supported by five testimonials from agent clients.
Supplier of the Year (Technology) – Apps
Open to tech companies creating apps and plug-ins to add to an agency’s CRM software systems, or to function independently, to address and improve particular processes and functions in residential sales and lettings.
Supplier of the Year – Products and Services (Marketing)
Open to companies providing, for example: shopfitting, signage, homestaging, print and design, digital and traditional marketing services and consultancy, PR services, portal marketing, photography, virtual viewings, auctioneering, lead generation etc.
Supplier of the Year – Products and Services (Business)
Open to companies providing, for example: referencing, insurance, telephony, lettings management services, anti-money laundering, utilities management, recruitment, etc.

The Regional Awards recognise the best agency in a geographical area, as identified in each Category description.

You must have a branch or branches within the border of Wales to qualify.
AGENCY OF THE YEAR AWARDS
This year the Small, Medium and Large agency categories will be determined by number of staff (previously this was number of branches).
This is based on full-time, or equivalent, employees. You must state your employee head-count in your submission.
Sustainable Agency of the Year
This category is for estate and letting agencies, of any size. This is your opportunity to show how your agency is rising to the challenge to be carbon neutral, to instil practices, behaviour and and overall ethos of sustainability in an era of global eco-threat. Explain how you are promoting your agency as an example to staff, clients, your community and the property industry as a sustainable business.
New Model Agency of the Year
Open to all businesses that offer an alternative service and fee structure to the traditional high street, branch-based, no-sale no-fee model (often referred to as hybrid, hub-based, self-employed franchise, or online agencies).
New Agency of the Year
Open to sales/lettings agency or property management company – independent or part of a franchise/network etc, launched since 1st January 2020. Provide an overview of the launch, including details of funding, business strategy and growth to date.
Lettings Agency of the Year (Small)
For letting agencies with up to 15 full time or equivalent employees/staff or equivalent employees/staff allocated exclusively to lettings. Independent owner/director-run agencies can win the long-term loyalty of clients, with the personal touch, local knowledge and involvement. The judges look for a first class agency that really stands out in their area.
Lettings Agency of the Year (Medium)
For letting agencies with between 16 and 100 full-time, or equivalent, employees/staff or agencies with between 16 and 100 full-time staff allocated exclusively to the lettings department. The judges will be looking for a cohesive, successful business benefitting from economies of scale, effective marketing, thorough compliance practices, growth of income streams with a programme of staff training and development.
Lettings Agency of the Year (Large)
For letting agencies with 101 or over full-time, or equivalent, employees/staff. Large agencies, corporate groups or franchises operating under single or multiple brands may enter this category, either for one brand or the group as a whole, whether regional or national. This is your opportunity to demonstrate excellence on a larger scale.
Estate Agency of the Year (Small)
For estate agencies with up to 15 full time or equivalent employees/staff or agencies with up to 15 full time or equivalent employees/staff allocated exclusively to sales. The judges look for a first-class agency that really stands out in their town and region. Independent agencies can win the long-term loyalty of clients, with the personal touch, local knowledge and involvement. Judges are also looking for originality and success in marketing and clever use of technology for customer service and business development.
Estate Agency of the Year (Medium)
For estate agencies with between 16 and 100 full time or equivalent employees/staff or equivalent employees/staff or agencies with between 16 and 100 full-time staff allocated exclusively to sales. The judges will be looking for a cohesive, successful business, benefitting from economies of scale and efficiencies, that serves its clients well, while consistently building business and income streams and developing its staff through training while encouraging company loyalty and progression via clearly defined career paths.
Estate Agency of the Year (Large)
For estate agencies with 101 or over full time or equivalent employees/staff. Large agencies, corporate groups or franchises operating under single or multiple brands may enter this category, either for one brand or the group as a whole, whether regional or national. This is your opportunity to demonstrate excellence on a larger scale.
